How QwenImage.net handles your prompts, the reference images you upload and the small amount of data the site needs to run.

Last updated: 2026-11-03

QwenImage.net (qwenimage.net) creates images from a text prompt and, on some tools, from reference images you upload, using the Qwen Image models. This policy explains what information passes through the site, what it is used for, which outside services touch it and how long it stays. "We", "us" and "our" mean the independent team that operates qwenimage.net; we are not Alibaba Cloud or the Qwen team.

The short version

  • Your prompt and any images you upload are used to make the picture you asked for. We don't sell them, post them anywhere or use them to train AI models.
  • Uploaded images are kept only as long as the service needs them, and we delete yours as soon as you ask.
  • To share out free images fairly we store a salted, one-way hash of your IP address and a device identifier. Your raw IP address is never stored for this.
  • Nobody has an account here. The one place we ask for an email address is the optional waitlist for a tool or option that isn't ready yet.

Information you send us

Prompts and reference images. The text you type into a tool, the options you choose (such as aspect ratio or camera angle) and, on tools that accept them, the reference images you upload. Your browser resizes and compresses images before they are sent.

Waitlist email. A few tools or options here are still being built. If you choose one, a form offers to let you know when it is ready. Filling it in stores your email address, the page and option you chose, your answer to " What will you make with it?", and a salted, one-way hash of your IP address that helps us filter out automated sign-ups. The address is used for that single notice only: we don't verify it, add it to a mailing list or pass it to anyone.

Emails to us. If you write to us, we keep the thread so we can answer you.

Information the site collects on its own

  • Free-image allowance. A salted hash of your IP address, an identifier your browser derives from its own settings, and the number of free images you have used. The browser identifier is also kept in your browser's local storage.
  • Generation records. The tool and options used, the time, whether the job succeeded, and links to any uploaded image and to the result.
  • Server logs. As with any website, our host processes your IP address, browser type and the addresses you request, so it can serve pages and fend off attacks.
  • Visit counts. Plausible Analytics counts visits without cookies and without storing anything that identifies you. We only see totals like page views, countries and referring sites.

Cookies and local storage

We set no cookies for visitors. Your browser's local storage holds the device identifier mentioned above and whether you prefer the light or dark theme. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes both.

Services that process data for us

A handful of outside services keep the site running. Each one gets only what its job requires:

  • Cloudflare — hosts the site and stores uploaded images; like any web host it sees your IP address when you connect.
  • AI image model providers (the Qwen Image models run through our AI gateway) — receive your prompt and any reference images, run the model that creates your image, and keep the result for a limited time so it can be downloaded.
  • Plausible Analytics — counts visits without cookies and without identifying anyone.

We may also hand over information when the law requires it or when it is needed to stop fraud or keep people safe. We never sell personal information or share it for advertising.

How long we keep things

  • Uploaded reference images: kept in our storage only while the service needs them; email us and we remove yours.
  • Generated images: held by the AI provider that produced them for a limited time so you can download them, then deleted. Download anything you want to keep.
  • Free-image allowance records: for as long as free images are offered; they never contain a raw IP address.
  • Waitlist entries: until the notice for that feature has gone out, or until you ask us to delete yours, whichever happens first.

Your rights

Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, send you a copy, fix it or delete it, uploaded images included. We reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live (the EU, the UK or California, for example), you may have further rights, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

QwenImage.net is not for anyone under 18, and images showing people under 18 must not be uploaded. If we find that we hold such an image, we delete it.

Children shouldn't sign up for the waitlist either; if we find that one has, we remove the entry.

Security

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Uploads are checked to be genuine image files before they are stored, and each is saved at a long random address that isn't published anywhere. Anyone holding that address can open the file, so don't share result links you want to keep private.

Where your data goes

Our host and AI providers operate servers in several countries, so your data may be processed outside your own.

Updates to this policy

Whenever this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. If an update affects how your prompts or images are used, we will post a notice on the site before it applies.
